At About Face, we use the ClarityII to reduce Epidermal Lesions such as Freckles, Lentigines or Seborrheic Keratosis age spots and skin lesions, solar lentigines or hemangioma especially on the face, arms, hands, chest and back. These pigmented patches are formed as a result of sun-damage occurring on the skin, Individuals may remove age spots from nearly any part of the body without harming or damaging the surrounding skin. Results become apparent a few days after the first treatment. For darker and well-defined spots in which the melanin is close to the surface, 1-3 treatments are typically all that is needed. After treatment, these spots turn slightly darker and “grayish”. In three to five days, they become “crusty” and simply flake off. This leaves perfectly virgin skin underneath.
How to prepare for treatment:
● If medically necessary pre-treat for Herpes simplex, If the procedure is on the face.
●Use SPF 30 for 4-6 weeks before and after treatment. Avoid sun exposure for 4-6 weeks before and after treatment.
● Discontinue use of retinol 1 weeks prior to treatment
